I am a native Houstonian, who travels extensively around the world as a logistics and materials supervisor supporting drilling and subsea projects.  Currently based in Haifa, Israel, I  support deep water operations in the East Mediterranean for a large independent energy company.     

Diving since 1987, and shooting underwater photos since 1994, I finally became a HUP's member in 2012.  My favorite dive locations include the Galapagos, Anilao The Philippines, and Tiger Beach in the Bahamas.  A major plus to living in Houston, one has the Gulf of Mexico and Carribbean Sea at your back door.

I use the  Nikon D7100 DSLR with a Nauticam housing and Ikelite D160 dual strobes. The preferred macro lens in this set up is the 60mm f/2.8, and the wide angle varies from the Nikon 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 rectilinear zoom lens, and the Tokina fisheye

10-17mm.  

For a topside lens the 18-200mm f/3.5 VR is a must have in the camera bag.
