KANDACE HEIMER

 

Kandace’s interest in photography grew out of her love for scuba diving.  She travels the world experiencing new cultures, historical places, and to photograph those adventures.  Visit her blog, Pixel Safari, at www.kandfoto.com/blog to share her experiences and her photography.

 

As a avid wildlife photographer, her goal is to create images that enhance the viewer’s appreciation of nature, whether the images are of underwater creatures, the animals that roam wild in our great land, or the beauty of the landscape itself.

 

Her photos have been published in various trade magazines, and in National Geographic’s online magazine.  The National Association of Photoshop Professionals selected her

photography portfolio as Editor’s Choice.  She was awarded 2010 and 2011 Photographer of

the Year by the Houston Underwater Photographic Society, Houston, Texas.  Currently, her underwater images are on display and for sale in the gift shop at the Moody Gardens,

Galveston, Texas.  Her artwork has been displayed in various venues in the Houston area.
