Greg Grimes

 

Greg Grimes was born in Bakersfield, California while his father was serving his country in Vietnam.  Greg moved to the Houston area at the age of 5 and considered himself a native Texan.  After finishing college, Greg worked as the Design Manager for Trussway LTD.,  until his death in 2014.  Greg, along with his wife Alicia Grimes became members of HUPS in 2006.  Greg has held several leadership roles in HUPS including  president.  Greg loved diving immediately after he became certified in 1992 and obtained a master diving certification.  Greg was also a licensed Ham radio operator.

 

Greg’s favorite locations to dive include Bonaire for the Caribbean, and anywhere in the South Pacific.  Greg was a incredible underwater videographer as well as still photographer.  Greg’s camera bag included a Canon 7D with all the lenses and Ikelite Housing.
