Alicia Grimes

Alicia Grimes has been in love with photography and the water from a very early age.  She grew up in Cleveland Ohio and got away from the cold as quickly as she could.  She settled in Orlando where she worked in many of the hotels for the Walt Disney Company.  She later extended her career, and  transitioned to British Airways Tours,  also in Orlando, where she was a travel agent for not only tours to Europe, but was also the Safari specialist for the company.  She became a certified diver in 1992, and has obtained a master diver certificate.  Alicia, because of her background, loves to travel the world and learn about different cultures.  She currently owns Souvenirs of the World in Kingwood Texas.

Alicia’s favorite place to travel and dive is in the South Pacific including Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines.  In the Caribbean her favorite location is Bonaire for its ease in shore diving.  Alicia’s camera bag holds a Canon 7D with a Ikelite housing as well a Sony HC3 video camera. She loves to shoot both wide angle and macro.
