Have you ever wondered how to make those really cool videos that you see at the monthly meetings?

On Saturday October 16, 2010 HUPS will have a round table share & learn at the Bayland Community Center to discuss the software ProShow. This very dynamic and rich in content software is available in both Gold and the even more powerful version known as Producer.

What is a Round Table
Unlike normal workshops, a round table discussion is different in that there will NOT be an instructor but everyone is encouraged to come willing to participate, have the software loaded and ready and willing to chime in as a collective group. (Share & Learn concept) To get started, everyone should show up with two or three tips that help you while using the program. We will go around the table and discuss the ins and outs of each feature to share. Come with questions... Come with solutions... Come with an open mind and plan to learn something from the group.

Here are a couple of links to get you started:

I just made a slide show of our China trip using ProShow Producer and was able to upload it as a video to my Facebook page using a built-in function.  Easiest way I could figure out to share the photos with the in-laws from Chicago who went on the trip with us.  It took me two evenings to make the show, only because I had around 2000 photos to sort through....otherwise, it would have been a lot faster.  It's a great program to use.

I think the workshop will be a great way to share ideas and tips that we've all learned as we've used this program.  Sign me up Greg!
