Outline
Photographing people underwater is one of the most challenging and rewarding types of underwater photography. It is a major departure from of shooting nature - where your subject don't talk to you or care how their picture looks. This workshop will cover all aspect of photographing people underwater, both in the studio (small pool ) or for commercial shoots and sporting events. James has extensive experience photographing people underwater: With his photo's appearing in two aquatic fitness books/magazines (WP Quarterly, and Health) and other articles on line. What do you need to bring?
- Weight Belt & Weights
- Mask
- Snorkel
- King Size Bed Sheets (Your favorite color EXCEPT white)
- Extra weights (preferably soft style) to hold down the sheets - We NEED lead!
- Underwater camera gear (housing, camera and your wide angle lens if you have one)
- Any and all strobes (The more lights the better)
- Extra Batteries and chargers if applicable
- Extra Slave Strobes (additional to your regular Strobes)
- Any spare sections of strobe arms or tripod for mounting the slave strobes
- Picnic Items
- Cold drinks to keep properly hydrated
- Covered Dish - (Let's have a PARTY while not in the water. NO ALCOHOL)
